With media, originality
and/or repetition are key. If you are doing print media, it's more so
originality, and with radio or audible advertisements, repetition.
Sometimes developing a slogan is not a bad idea, something catchy, of
course. McDonalds did it well with, "We love to see you -----!" Do you
see what I mean? Repetition drives these slogans into our mind so that
we'll think about them randomly or specifically when we see their
company signs. When developing a radio advertisement, the more effective
advertisements will be the ones that repeat the same slogan over and
over and over...

Developing what is known in
the business as a "Jingle" can be very helpful for audible media, as
well. Think about the jingle for McDonalds. "Ba-da Ba-ba-ba. I'm lovin'
it.®" You'll have it in your head now that you've seen it here all night.
Good grief. I'm sure you can think of others.
 
And then there is print
media. You'll be surprised to hear what can be true of newspaper ads.

promoting a website
Successfully promoting a
website can be gone about several different ways. The most effective way
of advertisement is word-of-mouth. This is the most effective because
people are getting sick of marketing. It seems as though everywhere you
turn, someone is trying to sell you something. When a friend tells a
friend about a good experience they had with your business, there is
trust between these two. The second most successful form of
advertisement is by media. Media advertising also includes your own
personal printing advertising, what I call local media to a business.
This includes business cards, brochures, flyers, and stationary.
Everyone of these media should have your website URL listed on it.

Our VIP page and Start page
are still under construction, but we anticipate its launch in late 2008.
The idea behind the VIP section is to offer alumni of Selah Studio extra
savings and helpful tools above and beyond the regular services offered
to the general public, as well as to offer give-away prizes and

The Start page has been
unnamed and is only one of many plans that Selah Studio has for 2008 to
